The Horn Studio


 

What's the horn studio class like?

  • Solo performance experience, with professional piano accompaniment, twice per week.
  • Orchestral training class, twice per week. Mock auditions with commentary, or practice playing major works as a horn section.
  • Play as a horn choir with weekly rehearsals and monthly concerts.
  • At least 90 minutes of private lessons from Mr. Johnson per week.
  • Separate regular private instruction with natural horn, Wagner tuba, and descant horn.
  • Small, close horn studio makes instruction more personalized.
